Of course, she’s also referencing her performance as Alison Bailey in the on going Showtime TV series The Affair, for which Ruth Wilson won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an actress in a television drama. Her co-star Dominic West was up for the male counterpart but missed out to Kevin Spacey, who won for House of Cards.

In The Affair, Ruth Wilson truly is incredible as Alison Bailey, and you can basically feel everything that the character feels.

But for those of you that know Wilson from her days as Jane Eyre in the 2006 mini-series, you’ll be fully aware of just how talented the actress is.

It’s not just film and TV that has put Ruth’s name firmly on the road to big things in 2015, it’s also her work in theatre that separates her from the rest.

She is a two-time Olivier Award winner and is currently starring in the wildly successful Broadway production of Constellations with Jake Gyllenhaal by Nick Payne, and directed by Michael Longhurst. (WATCH THE TRAILER HERE)

It’s the American premiere of the play and it has been drumming up success since it’s opening night, getting bestowed with all manner of compliments and acclaim.

And, if this isn’t enough to make you love Ruth Wilson, it just so happens that the English Surrey lass is quite the attractive woman, too, looking incredible in her most recent shoot by Steven Pan, for which she wears Dolce&Gabbana.

With the success of the first season of The Affair, Ruth Wilson is busy working on the new season which is due out in October 2015.
